At the Netcetera Digital Banking Summit we discussed how Artificial Intelligence (AI) will transform our business, industry and lives. To kick-off the summit, François Rüf, AI expert and former director digital at Vontobel, gave us an insight into the latest AI trends in banking and Dominik Wurzer, Managing Director Digital Banking at Netcetera, updated the attendees about the banking of the future. The question of the day was: Will AI revolutionize the financial industry? Typically Swiss, the opinions were evenly balanced. Time will tell. Or as Dominik Wurzer, suggested: Just do it and try out!
In the second part of the event, we gave the stage to our valued Customers and Partners. The audience could hear from Matthias Sailer, SIC Interbank Clearing AG, about the upcoming instant payment method in Switzerland. Deniz Maden from SIX spoke about app evolution and the different roles that banking and payment apps can play. Last, but not least, Moritz Zumbühl from Blindflug encouraged the community to think about gamification in banking applications.
