The vision of Valiant, finnova and G+D Netcetera was to develop a reliable mobile app for customers to help them achieve their personal goals. It is designed to simplify customers' financial lives and help them manage all their banking transactions from a single app.
The solution developed for Valiant combines the strengths of a classic banking app with modern expectations in terms of usability and design. The app is secure, easy to use, and offers a wide range of impressive features. It can be used immediately without visiting a branch and features a secure login including biometric recognition. Invoices can be paid conveniently and easily in the app via eBill or QR code. Thanks to access to their favorite functions, customers can find what they are looking for even faster. They can also use the app to easily exchange documents, trade securities, analyze expenses with the finance assistant, plan their budget, and keep an eye on their CO2 footprint at all times. It is also easy to communicate or make an appointment with an advisor.
In addition, the Valiant app serves as an authentication app for accessing traditional e-banking on the computer. Each login to e-banking serves as a targeted trigger to transfer e-banking users to the mobile channel. This means that e-banking customers can now be reliably reached via push notifications and on a secure channel.
Unlike conventional banking apps, the Valiant app is based on a completely redeveloped and expandable ecosystem platform from finnova and G+D Netcetera. The focus is on the customer experience, performance, security, scalability, and flexible and easy operation. In addition to a functional basis that is already standard for over 70 banks, the platform also offers space to implement the individual requirements of each bank and thus expand them individually and drive progress in Digital Banking.
Our solution is based on design thinking and user-centered design. Real bank customers have been consistently involved in the development process from the start. We also have our solution regularly reviewed externally in terms of usability and accessibility.
