The Netcetera 3DS ACS is ready for all major card networks worldwide: VISA, Mastercard, Amex, Diners, and UnionPay. Having Netcetera as a partner means that the issuers and banks can easily integrate with the Netcetera 3DS ACS to support strong authentication according to card networks’ and governments’ regulations, offer a seamless cardholder experience, and increase the number of successful transactions.
The Netcetera Access Control Server (ACS) ensures that all requests from 3-D Secure 1.0 and EMV® 3DS 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3.1 protocols are handled according to the available specifications and implementation guidelines. Both protocol versions (1.x and 2.x) are operated in parallel.
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) defines the rules for payment transactions. It is supported by all major credit card organizations, and it governs the processing of credit card transactions according to defined criteria and processes.
Business enterprises and service providers that store, transmit, or process credit card transactions must fulfill these standards and conform to the rules. Netcetera has passed the annual audits of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) since 2011. The certifications guarantee that systems deployed by Netcetera fulfill the worldwide high-security requirements of the payment card industry and 3-D Secure.
Netcetera conducts an annual external PSD2 audit confirming that the services provided as part of the Netcetera 3-D Secure Issuer Service meet the requirements of the "Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/389 of 27 November 2017 supplementing Directive (EU) 2015/2366 of the European Parliament and the Council".
