Netcetera awarded the EcoVadis silver medal for its sustainability practices


The leading Swiss software company, Netcetera, has been awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. This medal places Netcetera among the top 9% of EcoVadis-rated companies within the computer programming, consultancy and related activities industry and in the top 15% across all sectors. 


Sustainability is one of the fundamental aspects of Netcetera’s corporate strategy, and the EcoVadis silver medal is an acknowledgment of the company’s continuous dedication to integrating social and environmental values into all its business operations. It distinguishes Netcetera as a driver of positive changes in the software industry and confirms the company’s sustainable management of its economic, social, and environmental impacts and relationships with stakeholders.

The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) EcoVadis assessment report highlights Netcetera’s strengths and provides valuable insights into areas for improvement.

It also identifies industry trends, assesses primary sustainability risks, and embraces best practices according to 21 criteria grouped into four categories:

  • Environment,
  • Labour and Human Rights,
  • Ethics, and
  • Sustainable Procurement,

based on international sustainability standards such as the Global Compact Principles, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard, the ISO 26000 standard, and the CERES principles.
